About the pieces

Natasha Lucia’s work is informed by geology and the slow natural processes that shape the earth over time. Drawing on erosion, pressure, fracture, and layering, she explores organic, rock-like forms as wearable sculpture. These structures are not designed in the conventional sense, but formed through accumulation, movement, and change.

Geological forms are often overlooked as sources of beauty due to their familiarity and scale. Rocks exist everywhere, yet are rarely considered as natural artworks.

Through contemporary jewellery and experimental fabrication, Natasha Lucia translates these forms into objects worn on the body. Wearing the work brings natural form into physical proximity, creating a grounded connection between body and environment. The pieces function as small, portable reminders of the material world we inhabit, encouraging attention to forms and processes that are often passed without notice.
